Is my teen too young or too old for this?
It’s built for roughly 13 to 18. Younger than that and the group calls tend to go over their head; older and they are usually already out the door. If your teen is right at the edge, email me at jay@outsmartthesystem.org and I’ll tell you honestly whether it fits.
What if my teen loses interest halfway through?
That is exactly what the biweekly rhythm and the group are for. Most teens do not quit for lack of ideas, they drift when nobody is checking in. A small room of peers doing the same work, every two weeks, is the thing that keeps a teen going when motivation dips. It will not force a teen who refuses to show up. It will carry a teen who wants to and wobbles.
Is this a group program or 1-on-1?
Both, on purpose. Every enrollment includes a 1-on-1 onboarding call with me, and then the six months run on biweekly live group masterminds plus my coaching. The group is where teens see other kids their age moving, which does something a solo call cannot. Extra 1-on-1 time beyond onboarding is case by case, when a teen really needs it.
How much time does it take?
Two live mastermind calls a month, plus the roadmap steps your teen works in between. It is designed to fit around school, not compete with it. The teens who get the most out of it protect the call times and do the steps.
Is this therapy?
