You protected them from everything that built you.

A 35 to 45 minute Family Money Story Interview that shows you what your kids are absorbing about money — and a personalized Blueprint to change it.

The Most Expensive Thing You Ever Bought Was Their Comfort.

The comfort you built removed every bit of friction they need to grow. “They’ll figure it out” is not faith in your kid. It is you letting yourself off the hook.

Meet Jay

I made this
for me.

I was the kid everyone said would figure it out. I didn't, until I was 38. Now I'm doing this work with my own son in real time. I had to build a system that bypasses the defenses entirely. It's the system I now teach other parents.

Testimonials

Directly from parents and teens in the Outsmart the System program.

“Concepts I got to learn in my 40s that I wish I had prior... His standard and baseline is way higher than mine was at that age. There's no price on that. That's priceless.”

Renee
Parent

“It's even changing the way we communicate... now she's not defensive about it. It actually makes her stop and think and reflect... and then she can come to her own conclusions and it's not dad giving her the conclusion.”

Dwayne
Parent

“A huge part of this has just been a shared language with my son. I like to say it's sort of like we have our own secret handshake.”

Blake
Parent

“This isn't just a 'kids' program' — it's a family upgrade.”

Sapana & Anoop
Parents

“When we were enrolling, he had a lot of frivolous spending habits, and now he's actually asking me questions... spending his personal time researching financial options to free himself.”

Vishal
Parent

“I kind of looked at it as my mental gym. Like going to the gym to lift, to make my body better... I'm learning principles and frameworks to improve my mind.”

Daniel’s Interview

You want your kids ready for real life, not just good at school. It does not reliably teach money, responsibility, or judgment under pressure.

If you’ve ever thought “my kids are smart, but I’m not sure they’re ready for real life,” this interview is for you.

In the next 35 to 45 minutes, you’ll see the pattern you inherited, and what your kids are absorbing.

The Blueprint

What you'll actually receive.

Below is an excerpt from a sample Blueprint. The family shown is a composite and the names are invented — your Blueprint is built entirely from your own words.

Family Money Story Blueprint
Michael · June 2026

“Forty-five minutes ago you named a pattern you have been carrying for a long time — and you said out loud what most parents will not admit to themselves in a lifetime.”

Your Money Story

The pattern you carry today. The Scarcity Default. The rule running you wasn't yours to begin with. Your father handed it to you at the kitchen table the night the shop closed. You've been running it ever since.

“I watch every dollar like it's the last one. Even now. Even with what we have.”

The Inheritance Vector

The rule came in through your father, the night the shop closed. You were eleven. It has been running you since.

— Michael —

If nothing changes, Ava at 25 will apologize for spending money she earned herself — the same flinch you named in your own chest.

What Ava Is Learning Right Now

Ava sees a father who checks the receipt twice and goes quiet at the register. She is learning that money is something you brace for…

Your First Move

For Ava, this week: make one deliberately abundant choice and narrate it out loud. “We can afford this. We're choosing it because it matters.” No qualifier. No apology…

Your Blueprint continues — 1,200 to 1,500 words, built from your own interview. Nothing generic. Nothing you didn't say.

The most recent parent to complete the interview rated her Blueprint 10 out of 10 for how custom it felt.

Questions

Asked before booking.

Is this therapy?

No. It's a guided interview about money — what you learned growing up and what you're passing on. No diagnosis, no treatment. If something heavy comes up, the interview makes room for it and moves at your pace. It doesn't replace therapy, and it doesn't pretend to.

Does my teen participate?

No. This is for you. Your kid never has to know it happened. The patterns transfer through what you do, not what they're taught — so the work starts on your side of the table.

What if my teen is already resistant?

Doesn't matter. They're not in the room. The interview is about your money story, not theirs, and the first moves in your Blueprint are things you do — not things they have to comply with.

What's actually in the Blueprint?

1,200 to 1,500 words built from your own answers. The pattern you carry and who handed it to you. What each of your kids is absorbing right now. And the specific first moves to make this week, in plain language. The sample above shows the structure.

How is this different from the book?

The book is the framework. The Blueprint is your family. The book can't quote your own words back to you.

Do you see my answers?

Yes — your answers are used for one thing: building your Blueprint. They're never sold and never shared. At the end of the interview you can ask to leave anything out of the final report, and it stays out.
